Ordering

General Terms

  • Prices displayed in the online store include VAT.

  • Products and services are sold to adults of legal capacity.

  • Rib Saimaa reserves the right to change prices.

  • The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide.

  • The customer must review the description, instructions, and terms related to the booked product.

  • A booking made by the customer becomes binding when a booking confirmation is sent to the email address provided.

  • The customer pays for the booking according to the terms of the chosen payment method.

  • The booking system will send the confirmation to the customer’s email address.

  • Rib Saimaa is not liable for failed bookings. Customers must promptly contact Rib Saimaa to resolve such issues.

Cancellations and Changes

  • The cancellation date is the day Rib Saimaa receives notification of the cancellation.

  • The customer must ensure that the cancellation is sent in time.

  • If a customer must cancel due to compelling reasons, Rib Saimaa will attempt to reschedule them to another cruise. If this is not possible:

    • For cancellations made more than 2 days before departure, the full booking fee will be refunded.

    • For cancellations made less than 2 days before departure, 50% of the booking fee will be refunded.

Complaints

  • Complaints must be made as soon as the issue arises.

  • Rib Saimaa will aim to resolve complaints as quickly as possible, no later than within one month.

  • If no agreement is reached, the customer may refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board.

Formation of Agreement

  • A binding agreement is formed when the booking is confirmed (booking confirmation).

  • The booking confirmation will be sent to the customer by email.

  • The confirmation serves as a ticket for transportation and day trips.

Cancellation and Return of Individual Products

  • Individual products are subject to a 14-day return policy in accordance with consumer protection laws.

  • Returns are valid only if the product is in its original condition.

  • Any packaging must also be in a sellable condition.

  • The return policy does not apply to engraved or customized products, accommodation services, restaurant services, or leisure services and day trips booked for a specific date.

  • The customer is responsible for standard return costs.

Product Warranty

  • For individual products, Rib Saimaa follows the warranty terms set by the manufacturer or importer.

Payment Terms

  • Rib Saimaa uses reliable and secure payment providers, such as Visma Pay.

  • Rib Saimaa does not store bank account or credit card details at any stage.

  • The customer agrees to comply with the terms of the selected payment method.

  • If the payment transaction is not successfully completed at the time of order, Rib Saimaa will not process the order.
